Brock Lesnar’s WWE Status Revealed After Mind-Blowing RAW Return
Paul Heyman has revealed Brock Lesnar’s current WWE status after The Beast Incarnate’s surprise return on RAW.
Earlier this year, Oba Femi accepted Lesnar’s open challenge for WrestleMania 42. The Ruler shockingly squashed the former WWE Champion to earn his first victory at the Show of Shows.
Following his defeat, Lesnar removed his gloves and boots and left them in the middle of the ring, signaling his retirement from in-ring competition. WWE later confirmed that the 48-year-old has put an end to his wrestling career.
However, The Beast Incarnate made a shocking return on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW to take out Oba Femi ahead of the latter’s open challenge.
Brock Lesnar May Face Oba Femi At WWE Clash In Italy
After Brock Lesnar’s appearance on RAW, General Manager Adam Pearce summoned The Beast Incarnate’s advocate, Paul Heyman, to his office to explain what had happened.
The Oracle insisted Lesnar was still retired. However, he presented Pearce with a contract signed by the former WWE Champion for a rematch with Oba Femi at Clash in Italy, stating that the RAW GM could have “the biggest rematch in history” if he managed to get Oba Femi to sign it.
Pearce: I filed retirement paperwork on his behalf. What the hell is going on?
Heyman: Brock Lesnar is retired.
Pearce: What just happened out there? Retired? Start talking.
Heyman: [Hands Pearce the contract] I’m about to make your entire career. That’s for you.
Pearce: What a subpoena? I don’t need that.
Heyman: No, it’s not a subpoena. It’s a contract for Clash in Italy with Brock Lesnar’s signature already on it. You get Oba Femi to sign that, you have the biggest rematch in history.
