Booker T Makes In-Ring Return

Booker T

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has made his return to in-ring action for the first time in over two years at the age of 57.

Booker T made his name in the wrestling business as one half of the tag team Harlem Heat in World Championship Wrestling in the nineties. Teaming with his brother Stevie Ray, the duo would go on to become ten-time WCW Tag Team Champions during their time together.

As WCW was drawing to a close, Booker T had broken out as a singles star and when the company shut up shop for good, he was the reigning WCW World and United States Champion, bringing both titles with him to WWE.

It was in WWE that Booker T famously captured the WCW Championship for the fifth time and in 2006 he added the World Heavyweight Championship to his bulging belt collection. The highly-decorated star was rewarded with a solo WWE Hall of Fame induction in 2013 before Harlem Heat was inducted in 2019.

Booker T stepped away from the WWE ring in 2012 before carving out a career as a commentator and broadcaster for the company, all while promoting his own Reality of Wrestling company based in Houston, Texas.

Now, after a two-year absence Booker T has taken to social media to reveal he has laced up his boots and donned his flame-patterned tights one more time in the promotion:

“Got to step back in the ring last night at Reality of Wrestling and it felt GOODT!”
