Booker T has called out Hulk Hogan for his recent comments regarding the COVID-19 vaccine.

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has come under fire in recent days for comments he made about the COVID-19 vaccine on social media. In a Facebook comment which has since been deleted, the WWE Hall of Famer suggested that the recent deaths of Betty White and Sidney Poitier were in some way linked to the vaccine.

On the most recent edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T criticised Hogan for the comments, saying that he doesn’t have “a whole lot of respect” for people who make such remarks with no knowledge of the situation.

“It’s amazing some of the stuff people say when they just don’t know. I really don’t have a whole lot of respect for someone saying something like that, especially when they have no idea what happened to this person or not. Just what we are in the world today. Dammit, it could just be getting old.”

He went on to ask his co-host, Brad Gilmore, to “pull him back” if he started making controversial or radical comments himself.

“If you ever find me in that place where I’m saying something stupid and radical, please, I beg you to pull me back because I think that’s got a lot to do with a lot of these old guys going out and saying a lot of stupid stuff. I really do.”

The multi-time World Champion ended by joking that professional wrestlers aren’t the best people to be getting medical advice from.

“You definitely don’t want to be listening to a professional wrestler about your medical problems going on [laughs]. I just don’t think that’s wise.”

Jimmy Hart recently gave an update on Hulk Hogan’s health following reports over the past few months that he was struggling with a number of issues. Hart gave the positive news that he’s doing well and improving every day.
