Bloodline Member May Betray Roman Reigns In WWE, It’s Not Jacob Fatu
Roman Reigns may have to grow eyes on the back of his head.
The WWE World Heavyweight Champion’s revival of The Bloodline has not necessarily gone as planned. While the faction looks at full strength with Jey & Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu by Reigns’ side, discontent evidently prevails among its members.
It cannot be overlooked that Fatu is a member of the group against his wishes and was forced to join after losing a second title shot against the OTC, this time at Clash in Italy.
Fatu had first challenged Reigns after WrestleMania 42, which culminated in a title match at Backlash.
After the Turin PLE, The Samoan Werewolf acknowledged Roman Reigns as his Tribal Chief, but has not shown the same level of respect toward The Usos.
It was the same case on Monday, too.
On June 15, The Bloodline opened the show in Baltimore, Maryland, where Roman got the fans’ acknowledgement. The Usos did as well, but they complained that Fatu did not acknowledge them.
Reigns told Fatu to acknowledge his cousins, only for the 35-year-old to defy it.
Roman Reigns seemed impressed by Fatu’s judgment, stating that it was fresh to have someone beside him who was not a ‘yes man.’
Reigns then went on to present Jacob with an Ula Fala, which did not sit well with The Usos, who were seen bickering about it in the background.
Jey Uso Could Betray Roman Reigns On WWE Raw
Over the last year, wrestling fans have witnessed a slight transition in Jey Uso’s personality. The man who was jovial and happy had somewhat turned sour and unfriendly since losing the World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther.
Despite reuniting with Roman Reigns on Raw, Jey continues to remain mysterious and unhinged.
The 40-year-old has the chance to challenge for the world championship at SummerSlam by winning the ongoing King of the Ring tournament.
Jey is scheduled to face Je’Von Evans in the semi-finals, with the winner taking on Oba Femi at Night of Champions on June 27. While Jey has made his intention clear about challenging Cody Rhodes, he could change his mind and strike Roman Reigns, catching his cousin off guard.
While speaking on The Last Word podcast, former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci said that the Jey-Roman feud has more juice to it than the Jey-Cody story, and Jey has all the right reasons to challenge his cousin due to their past history.
Let’s face it. I mean, Jey wins King of the Ring, we don’t wanna see Jey go against Cody. That does nothing for me. That’s a Saturday Night’s Main Event main event, and I hate to say that, I’m not trying to crap on Cody or Jey, it’s just not big enough. There’s not enough juice there. We have juice with Jey and Roman. They are a family. They are Samoan brothers. And you know that is in their heritage, in their tradition, and for Jey to do the flipside on Roman now, to say I wanna challenge you instead of Cody, and you can make a storyline out of that right then and there.
Roman says, “Why are you coming at me? I’m your brother.” “Because you know why? I’m sick of being placated by you every week, and you play me like a fiddle. I wanna be the Original Tribal Chief. I wanna be the champ once again.” And that’s what I’m looking forward to, to see how they handle this because they know Cody and Jey doesn’t do anything for anybody. [12:55 onwards]
