A former WWE star recently made some interesting comments about a possible match with Oba Femi.

The Ruler has quickly risen the ranks in the sports entertainment juggernaut. Femi is currently undefeated in singles competition on the main roster, with the biggest win of his career coming at WrestleMania 42.

Oba Femi faced Brock Lesnar at The Show of Shows this year. In a surprising outcome, Femi squashed The Beast Incarnate at the Allegiant Stadium.

Following WrestleMania, The Ruler kicked off the Oba Femi Open Challenge on RAW, with Otis as his first opponent. Interestingly, it was Akira Tozawa who stepped up to Femi initially before changing his mind. Oba Femi made short work of Otis.

Last week, the open challenge almost came to a screeching halt because no one wanted to face Oba Femi. However, an angry Femi attacked Angel and Berto backstage before dragging them to the ring. He dominated both of his opponents in a 2-on-1 handicap match, pinning Berto for the win.

While speaking during an interview with ITR Wrestling, former WWE star Parker Boudreaux called other wrestlers being scared of facing Oba Femi “crazy.”

I know that’s crazy. A lot of people are so scared, man, it’s crazy.

Boudreaux then heaped praise on Oba and added that a potential clash between the two stars would be “box office.”

What a beast (Oba Femi). I think he is maybe the same exact age as me; I could be wrong. I mean, what a beast, obviously to take down Brock Lesnar, what a beast, he is young, he has it all. So, of course, me versus Oba would be box office. So for him, though, he’s doing it right, and obviously his work is paying off, so it’s really cool to see.

WWE legend comments on Oba Femi’s booking

On a recent edition of the Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray highlighted issues with Oba Femi’s booking following his win over Brock Lesnar at WWE WrestleMania 42.

The legend didn’t seem very impressed by how the Oba Femi Open Challenge has been presented until now.

He beats Brock Lesnar. Great. And then what? What are we doing the Monday night after? And the Monday night after that, the Monday night after that, we’re going to do an open challenge. Okay. Who are his opponents?

And you told me this list of guys, I tell you, you’re fu**ing crazy.

It will be interesting to see what plans Triple H has for Oba Femi in the coming weeks.
