Backstage Figures “Don’t Like” SummerSlam Card

SummerSlam 2022 Poster

A new report has claimed that some within WWE “don’t like” the card for SummerSlam despite being the ones who put it together.

On July 30th, WWE heads to Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee for SummerSlam. The event has been one of WWE’s traditional ‘Big Four’ since its inception in 1988.

With the show moving ever closer, the card is now beginning to take shape. Although, it appears that not everyone is entirely happy about it. A new report from Wrestle Votes has suggested that some within WWE “don’t like” the prospective card. A statement made even more bizarre by the fact that the comments come from those who have drawn up the matches.

The main event of the show will feature Brock Lesnar taking on Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. The bout has also been promoted as the last time that the pair will meet in the ring.

Meanwhile, The Usos defend their Undisputed Tag Team Titles against The Street Profits, and Bobby Lashley puts his United States Title on the line against Theory. It was also confirmed on Raw that Bianca Belair will defend her Raw Women’s Championship against long-time rival Becky Lynch.

From SmackDown, Liv Morgan defends her Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey.

Interestingly, five of the eight matches that have been announced are rematches from previous Premium Live Events.
