AJ Styles Spotted In Performance Center Before WWE RAW Tribute
It seems AJ Styles might well have been back in a wrestling ring ahead of a tribute edition of WWE Raw dedicated to him.
Outraged by Gunther’s antics after he defeated John Cena in the final match of Cena’s career, AJ Styles was ready to put it all on the line to get his hands on the former World Heavyweight Champion.
Gunther demanded that Styles put his own career on the line if he wanted a match at the Royal Rumble, a stipulation that the Phenomenal One reluctantly agreed to.
At the Royal Rumble, Gunther locked Styles in his dreaded sleeper hold, putting Styles to sleep and forcing the referee to call the match, and call time on Styles’ iconic career.
AJ Styles Getting WWE Tribute
After the match, Styles teased leaving his gloves in the ring but refused to do so, teasing that his career might not be over after all. Plenty of rumours have surfaced linking AJ Styles with a move to AEW, but could his WWE career have more life left in it?
WWE has announced that the 23rd of February edition of Raw will feature a tribute to Styles, as the show emanates from his home state of Georgia. PWInsider has reported that before that show takes place, Styles has been spotted at the WWE Performance Center. It remains to be seen if Styles was imparting his wisdom on the future stars of the company, saying his goodbyes, or training for his own very quick return to action.
