AJ Styles Makes Major Career Move Ahead Of WWE Royal Rumble

AJ Styles might be on the verge of retiring, so why is the WWE star making plans for his future?

AJ Styles has had a career like no other and is the only wrestling star recognised as holding the TNA World Title, the WWE Championship, and the IWGP Heavyweight Title.

But his career is now hanging by a thread. At the Royal Rumble, AJ Styles will put his in-ring career on the line against the man who retired both Goldberg and John Cena, Gunther. However, what started off as being billed as a retirement match, now has Styles describing the end of just his “WWE career”, raising questions about his future.

The outcome of that match may have already been spoiled by another WWE star, and if the Rumble is where Styles calls it a day in WWE, it will be a fitting end, as he debuted for the company at the event ten years ago in 2016.

But no matter what happens at the Royal Rumble, AJ Styles might not be done after all.

AJ Styles Planning For His Future

Styles has now filed two trademarks with the USPTO, one for his P1 logo and for the slogan “The Phenomenal AJ Styles.” The purpose of the P1 logo states that it is for:

The details for the filing for his wrestling name are similar, suggesting that Styles might still be lacing up his boots even if it’s not in a WWE ring.
