Ex-AEW World Champion Will Allegedly Follow Wife To WWE
Legend believes that the ex-AEW World Champion will soon return to WWE following his wife’s return at the Royal Rumble.
The 2026 Royal Rumble on Saturday, January 31, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, saw Hall of Famer Brie Bella make a shocking return to WWE after being away for four years. She entered at the #29 spot and was eliminated by Lash Legend.
Brie received a massive pop from the crowd upon her return. The Saudi Arabian crowd also called for her husband Bryan Danielson’s return to the Stamford-based promotion with loud “Yes” chants.
Bryan Danielson Will Return To WWE, Says Bully Ray
After witnessing Brie Bella’s shocking return during the Women’s Royal Rumble match, veteran Bully Ray took to Twitter to state that Daniel will also return to WWE soon. He claimed that now that Brie is back in the Stamford-based promotion, Daniel Bryan is not very far from making his return.

Bryan is a former WWE star who wrestled under the ring name Daniel Bryan. He left the Stamford-based company after his contract expired in May 2021. He is currently signed to AEW, where he serves as the color commentator for Dynamite and a part-time in-ring performer.
Bryan officially retired as a full-time in-ring competitor following his AEW World Title loss to Jon Moxley at AEW WrestleDream at the Tacoma Dome in 2024. Since turning into a part-time wrestler, he has only competed in one match, which took place on AEW Collision: Dark on June 25th, 2025. He wrestled Max Caster and won in only eight seconds.
