AEW Star Shares Interesting Stat About Lack Of Promo Time

A former AEW Women’s Champion has taken to social media to reveal how little promo time she has received in 2023.

It could be argued that Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. has been the face of the AEW women’s division since the company launched in January 2019.

While there have been times in her career when Baker was pushed on television as much as any woman in the company, that changed in 2023.

The November 29th edition of AEW Dynamite featured three Continental Classic matches, three other matches including just one women’s match and lengthy promo segments featuring World Champion MJF and TNT Champion Christian.

On Twitter/X, Baker sent out an interesting remark during the show that has gotten some wrestling fans fired up. The tweet mentions the promo time that MJF and Cage received while also noting that Baker has had zero minutes of live promo time in all of 2023.

Tonight’s #AEWDynamite:

MJF live promo time: 7 mins

Christian Cage live promo time: 10 mins

All of 2023 #AEWDynamite: Britt Baker live promo time: 0 mins

While Baker didn’t outright complain about the lack of promo time, it does seem interesting that she would post something like that as Dynamite was on the air.

In addition to that, Britt Baker hasn’t had a match on AEW television since the September 16th edition of Dynamite, which was over two months ago.

When Was Dr. Britt Baker The AEW Women’s Champion?

Britt Baker was the fourth AEW Women’s Champion in company history. It was at AEW Double Or Nothing 2021 when Baker defeated Hikaru Shida for her first and only title reign.

Women of AEW usually only get to have one match per show. When Baker feuded with Thunder Rosa in early 2022, they had a memorable rivalry that elevated the women’s division at least for that period of time.
