AEW Rampage Holiday Bash Spoilers For December 22
A big night of action on Dynamite aired live in Oklahoma City and that was followed by Rampage which saw a big title match take place.
The last matches of the Gold League in the Continental Classic took place on Dynamite with huge ramifications for the league final. Three AEW stars qualified for the Gold League final to try and book their place at Worlds Collide.
Swerve Strickland defeated Rush to end his campaign on 12 points. Jon Moxley only had to avoid defeat against Jay White to face Strickland again but Switchblade inflicted defeat on the former AEW World Champion to ensure all three men finished on 12 points.
That match takes place on the final Dynamite of 2023 with the winner meeting the winner of the Blue League at Worlds Collide for the new American Triple Crown.
MJF faces a major title challenge before Worlds Collide as he and Samoa Joe were once again confronted with a challenge from The Devil’s goons. This time Joe accepted and he will join MJF again to defend the ROH Tag Team Championship.
