AEW-NJPW Add Three More Matches To Forbidden Door PPV
There will be a total of 14 matches at the AEW-NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view after three more matches were added during this week’s Collision episode.
Following the second episode of AEW Collision on Saturday night, the minds that run AEW & NJPW added three more matches to pre-show while also revealing a surprise tag team partner in another match.
In the opening segment of the show, Sting & Darby Allin introduced Tetsuya Naito as their tag team partner against Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara & Minoru Suzuki.
They also announced three matches for the ZERO HOUR PRE-SHOW:
* Stu Grayson vs. El Phantasmo
* United Empire (TJP, Jeff Cobb & Kyle Fletcher) vs. Hiromu Takahashi, Shingo Takagi & BUSHI
* Mogul Embassy (Swerve Strickland, Toa Liona & Kaun) vs. Trent Beretta, Rocky Romero & El Desperado
In 2022, the AEW-NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view had 13 matches, so they have one more match this year. The pre-show runs for one hour while most AEW PPVs run for just under four hours, so if you watch everything then that’s five hours of content later tonight from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
