AEW Internal Reaction To Suspensions Ending

A new report has shed light on some of the circumstances surrounding several suspensions in AEW coming to an end following the All Out backstage fight.

All Elite Wrestling is still reeling following the dramatic developments of the All Out media scrum. With a number of their top stars remaining suspended, a seismic gap has been filled with seminal performances courtesy of Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Sammy Guevara, and several more – but the backstage area is looking a little more lively.

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Christopher Daniels, Brandon Cutler, and Michael Nakazawa have now resumed their regular duties. This is in addition to Fightful Select confirming that Pat Buck was back working during the latest AEW Dynamite.

The situation remains unclear as it pertains to CM Punk, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Ace Steel, however. Given that Steel was the only backstage employee not brought back yet, things may not look good for his future with the company.

Fightful Select issued a new report giving some of the background and reaction to those suspensions being lifted. The report says those familiar with the situation believe that the suspensions that are now lifted were only for “precautionary reasons.”

It is also noted there were other witnesses to the event nearby but they were not suspended as they did not become physically involved either in the fight or trying to break it up.
