A back injury will keep a member of AEW’s Bullet Club Gold out of the ring, according to a new report.

There are many stables in All Elite Wrestling that are featured regularly on the company’s Dynamite, Collision, and Rampage shows. One group that has been featured prominently for several months is the Bullet Club Gold group led by Jay White along with Juice Robinson and The Gunns – Austin & Colten Gunn.

A new report from Fightful Select has revealed that the group will be without Robinson for the rest of 2023 and possibly longer.

It has been reported that Robinson suffered a back injury recently and he will need to have surgery to fix the problem. There’s no specific date for when Robinson suffered the injury, but his last match was on the November 1st episode of AEW Dynamite when Bullet Club Gold beat MJF & The Acclaimed in an eight-man tag team match.

There is no specific timetable for when Robinson might return to the ring, he is likely out of action for the rest of 2023. Fightful added that it’s not expected to be a drawn-out absence as long as there are no setbacks.

On television, AEW said that Robinson was injured by an attack from AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman, who was feuding with Jay White.

How Did Bullet Club Gold Do At AEW Full Gear?

While Juice Robinson did not appear at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view in Los Angeles, his Bullet Club Gold teammates Jay White and The Gunns were in title matches. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a successful night for the group.

The Gunns challenged MJF and his tag team partner Samoa Joe in a match for the ROH Tag Team Titles. Joe & MJF got the win to keep the titles, which means MJF has to defend the AEW World Title against Joe per an agreement they made before the match. After the match, The Gunns attacked the left knee of MJF with a steel chair.

In the main event of Full Gear, MJF defended the AEW World Title against Jay White while MJF was dealing with a left knee injury. Despite the injury, MJF was able to win the match thanks in part to his buddy Adam Cole at ringside handing him the Dynamite Diamond Ring to use as a weapon.
