Full Lineup for ROH/NJPW G1 Supercard on April 6, AXS TV to Broadcast Two Part Special

The full lineup has been released for the Ring of Honor and New Japan G1 Supercard show on April 8th at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Thanks to ROHWrestling for the lineup. From ROH:

For 16 years, Ring of Honor Wrestling has created some of the top stars in professional wrestling, and for nearly 50 years, New Japan Pro-Wrestling has brought Japanese Strong Style to the world. Together, these two companies have delivered world class shows such as “War of the Worlds,” “Strong Style Evolved,” “Global Wars,” “Honor Rising,” and the “G1 Special,” which NJPW has launched as a special kickoff in the United States to their annual “G1 Climax,” known as one of the most elite tournaments in professional wrestling.

ROH and NJPW are proud to announce that on April 6th, 2019, the companies will join forces to present the ultimate wrestling event, “G1 Supercard,” to fans from around the world, LIVE from Madison Square Garden in New York City!

IWGP Intercontinental Championship: Tetsuya Naito (c) vs. Kota Ibushi

RevPro British Heavyweight Championship: Zack Sabre Jr. (c) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi

Title vs. Title Four Corner Survival Match: IWGP Tag Team Champions Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa vs. ROH Tag Team Champions PCO & Brody King vs. The Briscoes vs. EVIL & SANADA

Title vs. Title Match: NEVER Openweight Champion Will Ospreay vs. ROH TV Champion Jeff Cobb

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship: Taiji Ishimori (c) vs. Dragon Lee vs. Bandido

Ring of Honor Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling are happy to announce that G1 Supercard will air LIVE on pay-per-view via cable and satellite, as well as on pay-per-view via FITE TV for $39.99.

Los Angeles (March 27, 2019) – AXS TV—the exclusive U.S. broadcast home for New Japan Pro Wrestling—is proud to announce it will premiere a two-part special from the sold-out G1 SUPERCARD, a co-promotion between Ring of Honor and NJPW at Madison Square Garden, on Friday, April 12 and Friday, April 19 at 8pE/5pP.

The G1 SUPERCARD, which takes place on April 6, features many of NJPW’s biggest stars including IWGP Heavyweight Champion Jay White in his first career defense of the title against 2019 New Japan Cup winner and four-time champion Kazuchika Okada. Also scheduled for the event, IWGP Intercontinental Champion Tetsuya Naito takes on Kota Ibushi, ROH World Champion Jay Lethal puts his title on the line in a three-way match with Matt Taven and Marty Scurll.
