Daniel Bryan vs. Big Cass Added to WWE Money in the Bank; Updated Lineup

TJR Wrestling

A new match was announced for WWE’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view on June 17 in Chicago. It will be Daniel Bryan facing Big Cass in a rematch from Backlash, which was a win for Bryan and also included a post match attack by Cass. Bryan responded to that on Smackdown with a vicious attack on Cass’ knee. After Cass missed some time with an injury that some people thought was real, but most of us knew was a work, Cass returned this past week at Smackdown. Cass took part in a triple threat with Bryan and Samoa Joe. The match was won by Joe when he put Daniel Bryan in the Coquina Clutch submission. After the match, Cass attacked Bryan again, which set up Money in the Bank.

I think Bryan should win again because he’s already put over Rusev and Samoa Joe in the last month. I think WWE will want him to put over Cass too, but I don’t agree with it.

The lineup for Money in the Bank looks like this right now:

WWE Championship Last Man Standing Match: AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Raw Women’s Championship: Nia Jax vs. Ronda Rousey

Men’s Money in the Bank Contract Ladder Match: Braun Strowman (Raw), Kevin Owens (Raw), Finn Balor (Raw), Bobby Roode (Raw), The Miz (SD), Rusev (SD), One member of The New Day (SD), Samoa Joe (SD)

Women’s Money in the Bank Contract Ladder Match: Ember Moon (Raw), Alexa Bliss (Raw), Natalya (Raw), Sasha Banks (Raw), Charlotte Flair (SD), Becky Lynch (SD), Lana (SD), Naomi (SD)

Roman Reigns vs. Jinder Mahal

Intercontinental Championship: Seth Rollins vs. Elias

Daniel Bryan vs. Big Cass

Smackdown Women’s Championship: Carmella vs. Asuka

Bobby Lashley vs. Sami Zayn

Smackdown Tag Team Championships: The Bludgeon Brothers vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

Another likely match is…

– Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt defending the Raw Tag Team Titles vs. the winners of a battle royal on Raw.

The show starts at 7pmET/6pmCT and it’s going to run for about four hours. It’s going to be a long night.
