AEW Announces Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega for Full Gear PPV on November 9
The first match has been announced for All Elite Wrestling’s third pay-per-view event called Full Gear on November 9 and the match they have chosen is no surprise. It’s going to be Jon Moxley facing off against Kenny Omega. Tickets for Full Gear go on sale this Friday. Full Gear takes place at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.
Moxley vs. Omega was supposed to happen at the AEW All Out pay-per-view this past Saturday, but Moxley has been dealing with a staph infection in his arm that will keep him out of the ring for 4-6 weeks. Moxley is expected to be cleared to wrestle again later this month and will be a part of AEW’s debut show on TNT on October 2.
This rivalry was started at Double or Nothing in May when Moxley attacked Omega after Kenny lost his main event match to Chris Jericho. One month after that at June’s AEW Fyter Fest event, Omega returned the favor by attacking Moxley.
TJR Thoughts: It’s a great match and it’s smart for AEW to advertise it over two months away from the show. They can use AEW on TNT’s show in October to build to Omega/Moxley at Full Gear.
