When Will WWE King And Queen Of The Ring Brackets Be Released?

WWE King And Queen Of The Ring

A new report has provided information on when the WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournament details will be announced.

The month of May will have two WWE Premium Live Events this year. The WWE Backlash France takes place this Saturday in Lyon and that’s being followed up on May 25th when the company presented the King And Queen of the Ring tournaments from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

It will be the return of the King of the Ring name. The first-ever King of the Ring tournament was held back in 1985 and won by WWE Hall of Famer Don Muraco. Meanwhile, the last major King of the Ring PPV/PLE was the 2002 event when Brock Lesnar became King of the Ring. They did it again in 2015 with Wade Barrett winning, but that was a shorter version.

Following a break with no kings being crowned for over six years, the King of the Ring tournament returned in 2021 with Xavier Woods winning the title at Crown Jewel. Meanwhile, Zelina Vega won the inaugural Queen’s Crown tournament at the same event.

There were plans to do King and Queen of the Ring in 2023, but WWE changed their minds and went with a Night of Champions event in May 2023 in Saudi Arabia instead.

I’m told the King of the Ring / Queen of the Ring brackets will be revealed throughout the weekend. The RAW side will be revealed during tomorrow’s Backlash PLE while the SD side will be revealed during this Mondays RAW.
