Top WWE Star Wants To Be Like Seth Rollins

A top WWE star is looking to follow Seth Rollins.

At WrestleMania 40, Damian Priest cashed in his Money In The Bank contract to pin Drew McIntyre and win the World Heavyweight Title. The Scottish star had only won the gold minutes earlier after getting the better of Seth Rollins.

Rollins had held the gold for a little under a year, priding himself on facing a wide variety of challengers on any given night. A stark contrast to Roman Reigns’ approach with the Undisputed WWE Championship.

During an appearance on the Rob Brown Show, Priest said he was ready to follow the example set by Rollins.

“I want to be the type of champion that Seth Rollins was, a workhorse. I want to defend the title. I want to take on everyone and anyone at any point. When it comes to the roster, I want a piece of everybody. I want a piece of everybody. It’s usually the opposite,”

Damian Priest’s most recent World Title defence came at Backlash where he defeated Jey Uso.

Seth Rollins Set To Stay With WWE

With regard to Seth Rollins, it’s been confirmed the star will be staying with WWE for the foreseeable future after signing a new “big money” deal. Rollins’ previous contract was due to expire in June, but like Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest, he’s committed his future to the company.

However, his wife Becky Lynch still hasn’t signed a new contract and could become a free agent within weeks.

Rollins is currently out of action after undergoing surgery to repair a long-standing knee injury. There’s no word on when he’ll be back in the ring.
