Influential WWE Executive Lands Promotion

Triple H WWE

More changes have taken place behind the scenes in WWE.

With the company’s “new era” well underway there have been significant changes both in front and behind the camera.

According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Chris Legentil has now been promoted from Senior Vice President, Head of Global Communications to Executive Vice President, Talent Relations, and Head of Communications.

Legentil joined the sports entertainment giant in April 2021 after a spell with DAZN, reportedly at the behest of Nick Khan.

Key WWE Executive Quits

There’s been a great deal of movement behind the scenes in recent months, with Chief Operating Officer Brad Blum offering his resignation on May 1st.

Blum had been with the company since 2006, and in his position, answered only to Nick Khan at the time of his departure. The executive was “Corporate Officer No. 2” in the Janel Grant sex trafficking lawsuit filed against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis in January.

Meanwhile, in April, Executive Vice President of Talent Dan Ventrelle left the company, and Ventrelle was followed out of WWE by Trent Wilfinger who had been with the company since 2021, working as Senior Vice President of Athlete ID & Development.
