The Undertaker has only wrestled two matches in WWE this year and there have been questions from fans wondering when he might have another match. It was announced today that it will take place at the “World’s Most Famous Arena” Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday, July 7. The first two matches were the three-minute victory over John Cena at WrestleMania on April 8. Later that month on April 27, The Undertaker beat Rusev in a Casket Match that went about ten minutes.

Here’s more news on The Undertaker wrestling on July 7 courtesy of WWE:

There will be a chill in the air in New York City on Saturday, July 7, when The Undertaker competes in Madison Square Garden as part of the WWE Live SummerSlam Heatwave Tour.

This will mark The Deadman’s first appearance in The World’s Most Famous Arena in eight years.

The Undertaker has waged many unforgettable battles at MSG, including his melee with Mankind at Survivor Series 1996, his WWE Championship clash against “Stone Cold” Steve Austin at SummerSlam 1998 and his collision with his brother Kane at WrestleMania XX as part of his legendary Streak.

It’s a Raw brand live event that will also feature Ronda Rousey’s WWE MSG debut, so it should be an eventful night.

I think the fact that it’s the first time Undertaker wrestles at MSG in eight years makes it feel pretty special. Plus, the man is 53 years old and he can’t wrestle forever, so who knows if he will ever wrestle again there? It could be the last time NYC fans can see him in MSG.

There’s no word yet on who The Undertaker will face in a match, but I assume that he’s going to get the win over whoever it is.
