1993 – On the live edition of WWE Monday Night Raw from Poughkeepsie in New York, Randy Savage confronted Crush over allegations that Savage betrayed his friend by convincing him to compete against then WWE Champion Yokozuna a few months prior. At the conclusion of this summit, when it appeared the pair had reconciled, Crush attacked Savage and set up their feud which would eventually reach its climax at WrestleMania X the following year in Madison Square Garden.

1996 – The Sandman retained the ECW World Heavyweight Title against Stevie Richards in the main event Steel Cage match at the ECW Plymouth Meeting.

1997 – Little Guido and Tracy Smothers defeated John Kronus and New Jack to become new ECW Tag Team Champions.

1998 – WWE presented the Judgment Day PPV from the Rosemont Horizon in suburban Chicago where in the main event The Undertaker and Kane competed for the vacant WWE Championship with ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin as the Guest Referee. The stipulation for this match was that if Austin did not award the title to either competitor, then he would be fired. The night ended without a clear winner which led to the ‘Deadly Game’ tournament at the Survivor Series PPV the following month.

Also on the undercard, Christian defeated Taka Michinoku for the WWE Light Heavyweight Title and X-Pac defeated D-Lo Brown for the WWE European Championship. Ken Shamrock defended the Intercontinental Title against Mankind, The New Age Outlaws defended the Tag Titles against The Headbangers, and The Rock defeated his former Nation of Domination teammate Mark Henry.

1999 – Harlem Heat defeated Konnan & Rey Mysterio for the WCW Tag Team titles on WCW Monday Nitro from Philadelphia.

1999 – Crash and Hardcore Holly defeated The Rock & Mankind for the WWE Tag Team titles on Raw from Columbus in Ohio.

2004 – On WWE Raw, just one night before the first Taboo Tuesday PPV, Edge defeated Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit in a Triple Threat match in the main event. Also, Shelton Benjamin won a six-man elimination match against Christian, Jonthan Coachman, Rhyno, Tajiri and The Hurricane.

2005 – Booker T defeated Chris Benoit for the United States Championship at the SmackDown taping in Reno, Nevada. Also Batista & Eddie Guerrero faced Mr Kennedy & Randy Orton in the main event.

2009 – At TNA Bound For Glory Eric Young won the TNA Legends Title in a Triple Threat match against Kevin Nash and Hernandez. Also Bobby Lashley faced Samoa Joe in a Submission match, Abyss faced Mick Foley in a Monsters Ball match, Kurt Angle defeated Matt Morgan. And in the main event AJ Styles retained the TNA World Heavyweight Title against Sting.

2014 – Marty Scrull retained the RevPro British Heavyweight Title in the main event of RevPro Uprising at York Hall in London. In addition Too Cool (Brian Christopher, Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty) defeated Josh Bodom, Sha Samuels & Terry Frazier in a 6 Person Tag Team match. Austin Aries & Rich Swann faced 2 Unlimited in the opening match of the event.

2015 – The Electric Ballroom in London hosted ‘Progress Chapter 22: Trust, Encouragement, Reward, Loyalty, Satisfaction’. In the main event, Will Ospreay retained the Progress Title against Paul Robinson. The undercard featured a number of soon to be NXT US and UK talent including Jack Gallagher, Tyler Bate, Tommaso Ciampa and Flash Morgan Webster.

2016 – On WWE SmackDown Live from Denver in Colorado James Ellsworth unsuccessfully challenged AJ Styles for the WWE World Championship and Randy Orton faced Luke Harper in the opening match. In addition, in six man tag team action Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler teamed up with Smackdown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater & Rhyno to take on The Miz alongside Kenny & Mickey from The Spirit Squad.

2019 – On WWE Friday Night SmackDown from Indianapolis, Roman Reigns challenged Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Championship, and later on in the evening Reigns teamed with Daniel Bryan to face King Corbin & Nakamura.

2020 – Kota Ibushi won the NJPW G1 Climax tournament, becoming the first wrestler to win back-to-back tournaments since Hiroshi Tenzan in 2004.
