WWE Superfan Izzy Moreno Making Pro Wrestling Debut In Bayley-Inspired Gear [PHOTO]

While once known as Bayley’s #1 fan, Izzy Moreno is growing up and will soon be making an in-ring debut of her own.

In 2015, Bayley and Sasha Banks took the world by storm in an NXT Women’s Championship match at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn that saw Bayley capture her first taste of gold in WWE.

In the leadup to Bayley’s monumental title win, she was supported at ringside by a special fan, a young girl named Izzy who could be seen sporting her hero’s merchandise and signature side ponytail. While Izzy wasn’t able to be in Brooklyn for Bayley’s big win over Sasha Banks, she was ringside at TakeOver: Respect to see the two women have a 30-minute Iron Man match in the main event.

During the main event bout, Sasha Banks grabbed the young girl’s headband, causing Izzy to break down into tears. Banks later apologized and gave flowers to the young fan, who humorously told Sasha to ask before borrowing her headband next time.

When Will Izzy Moreno Make Her Wrestling Debut?

8 years after finding fame as an NXT fan, Izzy is now 16 years old and set to follow in her hero’s footsteps when she makes her professional wrestling debut for Mission Pro Wrestling, a Texas-based promotion run by AEW star Thunder Rosa. On August 12th, she’ll be taking on independent star Jazmin Allure, who attacked Izzy at a recent event.

Taking to social media ahead of Mission Pro’s Boiling Point show, Izzy revealed that she’ll be wearing ring gear inspired by Bayley and said she hopes her younger self is proud that her dreams are coming true.

While this marks the young star’s official debut in the world of professional wrestling, she did draw criticism back in 2018 for taking bumps at a young age when she participated in a bout that saw her score a pinfall victory over EFFY.
