WWE Star Calls Out AEW Champion For Being “BALD!”

WWE star Bayley insulted the AEW National Champion Ricochet on social media.

Mustafa Ali put on a really strong performance against Jeff Hardy on Thursday Night’s Impact episode in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After the match, WWE star Bayley took to social media to praise Ali and hype him up.

Her post caught the attention of All Elite star Ricochet, who jumped in to remind the WWE legend that he’s beaten Mustafa Ali before, hinting that he’s the better wrestler. That sparked a quick back-and-forth, with Bayley firing back by jokingly calling Ricochet bald.

Bayley tweeted, “Man. There is nobody like @MustafaAli_X @ThisIsTNA

Ricochet reacted, “I’ve beat him.’

Bayley responded, “BALD”

Why Tony Khan Chose Ricochet To Become The Inaugural AEW National Champion?

Ricochet is currently the AEW National Champion, a title he won in a Casino Gauntlet match at last year’s Full Gear pay-per-view in November 2025. While plenty of stars on Tony Khan’s roster could have won the belt, Khan chose the 37-year-old wrestler for a specific reason.

Khan recently explained on an episode of the Battleground podcast, saying that Ricochet is a “great wrestler” and the perfect fit to represent the title all over the world.

“We’ve got a new National Champion, Ricochet, who will be defending that title all over the world. And he’s somebody that not only AEW fans respect—I believe he’s a great, great wrestler—but also someone who is a huge name in wrestling and a great person to represent AEW, not just here on our TV shows, but also when traveling to other promotions in America.”
