WWE Fans Angrily React To WrestleMania 43 Announcement (VIDEO)
Many WWE fans voiced their displeasure at the company’s WrestleMania 43 announcement.
At a press conference in Las Vegas, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, announced that WrestleMania 43 will be going to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027. There were no specific dates mentioned for the show.
During the press conference, the Saudi Arabian Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, mentioned Vince McMahon at the event even though the former WWE Chairman apparently doesn’t have anything to do with the current WWE product.
However, it was Vince McMahon who made the deal to bring WWE shows to Saudi Arabia in 2018, and they’ve been going back to the country every year since then.
The press conference in Las Vegas was attended by no fans and no members of the media because that’s how WWE wanted it.
During the WWE-AAA Worlds Collide Las Vegas event that aired on YouTube after SmackDown concluded, a video aired showing the WrestleMania 43 announcement. Fans reacted to the video with boos and also “You Sold Out” chants.

Why Are WWE Fans Mad About WrestleMania Going To Saudi Arabia
At the press conference, Triple H was making the point that WrestleMania 43 will be history-making because it will be the first time that WrestleMania takes place outside of the United States and Canada.
The reason for “You Sold Out” chants is that fans feel like the company is going to Saudi Arabia for WrestleMania 43 because they got paid a ridiculous amount of money.
Many fans don’t like certain aspects of the Saudi Arabian culture because of how they treat women and other things, which is different from America and most civilized nations.
When the company first went to Saudi Arabia, women weren’t able to wrestle on the show. That ended up changing a year later when Natalya faced Lacey Evans at WWE Crown Jewel 2019, and now women can wrestle, but they must cover their bodies, except for their heads and hands.
Since WrestleMania 43 is about a year and a half away, the video announcing the event will likely continue to air at WWE shows, and it could lead to even more boos in the future.
