More On Vince McMahon’s Raw Changes, Female Talent “Vocal” About Being Cut

Even though Triple H has been confirmed as WWE’s head of Creative, Vince McMahon still appears to be inserting himself and exerting whatever authority he has on RAW all the same.

According to reports by Fightful Select, there were many changes made to RAW’s format, some of which were decided as late as an hour before the show went live.

Per the report, a match between Candice LeRae and Piper Neven was originally planned to take place but later on it was nixed. Those two were also alleged to be involved in a segment with Trish Stratus but it too was removed before the show went live. Their match was replaced by the one between the Street Profits and Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin.

Additionally, it was reported that several female wrestlers have expressed frustration over their segments being changed, cut down, or removed altogether.

But the women weren’t the only ones feeling the effects of these constant changes and eleventh-hour updates. The Mustafa Ali/Chad Gable was one such a match, as it had time cut from it despite it already being positioned as a short match to begin with.

Lastly, there was said to be a general sense of confusion backstage at RAW as several other matches were changed, including both who would win and how. The final card which had everything broken down and finally decided wasn’t posted until much later than normal, further adding to the confusion.
