Triple H may not push a major WWE star again.

When Jacob Fatu first debuted in Solo Sikoa’s faction, he turned a lot of heads due to his aggression in the ring. Therefore, he was quickly able to get over with the fans. Additionally, Jacob also proved himself to be an incredible worker in the ring who could also cut decent promos. He quickly outgrew the group and turned on Solo Sikoa.

After breaking out as a singles star, it was clear that Jacob Fatu was bred to be a World Champion someday. He was well on his way to becoming a WWE Champion when he had to step away from the ring because he had to undergo a dental procedure. When he returned, he was involved in a feud with Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre. Recently, the Samoan Werewolf found himself in the World Title picture when he challenged Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Backlash 2026. After losing the match, Jacob challenged The OTC to a Tribal Combat at Clash in Italy. However, Jacob lost again.

This week on WWE RAW, Jacob Fatu did the unthinkable and finally acknowledged Roman Reigns. He then got in line along with The Usos and became a part of The Bloodline. This move seemingly killed Jacob’s momentum as he can no longer be seen as the same ruthless person he once was.

Bully Ray believes that Triple H has given up on Jacob Fatu

Speaking on a recent edition of his Busted Open Radio podcast, Bully said that Triple H might’ve ended the Jacob Fatu experiment. He also recalled people saying that Jacob was going to be the face of the company and a future World Champion. Bully also said that Jacob will never be what Roman Reigns is.

“It almost looked like the Jacob experiment has come to an end,” he said. “He’s now a co-star in the Bloodline. We’ll see what happens. Remember, just a couple of months ago, there was all this discussion about whether Jacob Fatu could be the face of the place and the World Heavyweight Champion. A lot of people said, ‘yes.’ I said, ‘no.’ Jacob Fatu will never be what Roman Reigns is. Where he fits into this story moving forward, that remains to be seen.” (H/T – WrestlingInc)

It remains to be seen if Jacob Fatu will be able to live up to his potential and win the World Title in the future.
