Sting and Darby Allin launched a surprise attack of their own at an Atlanta independent wrestling show.

AR Fox was present for the promotion WWA4 on Thursday, August 17th. This is also where Fox would train to become a pro wrestler.

As seen by fan footage at the show, as Fox is in the ring he is distracted by the unexpected arrival of Darby Allin. As the former TNT Champion further provoked his former friend, Sting would sneak up behind Fox and choke him out with a baseball bat.

With Fox down on the mat, Allin would climb to the top rope and hit a Coffin Drop onto his future opponent. To make the unique encounter even stranger, the live fans would boo the attack in an extremely rare occurrence, especially for The Icon.

Sting And Darby Allin Build To AEW All In

Following AR Fox turning heel by attacking Orange Cassidy, Darby Allin was incensed by the actions of his former friend. Later in the show, Fox would side with Swerve Strickland and The Mogul Embassy to take out one of the AEW pillars.

The following week, Allin would not be outnumbered again, enlisting the services of his long-time ally to provide backup. It was later announced that The Icon and the daredevil would team up to take on Strickland and Fox in a Tag Team Coffin Match at All In.

With the clock counting down on the legendary career of The Icon, one fellow Hall of Famer believes that the former World Champion’s final ever match should take place inside Wembley Stadium.
