Seth Rollins Gives Positive Injury Update

Seth Rollins poses on WWE Raw

Seth Rollins suffered an injury at Crown Jewel, which forced him to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship and take time off for surgery and recovery.

The Visionary suffered a shoulder injury when he attempted a coast-to-coast headbutt against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel but failed to stick the landing. He landed on his elbow and suffered a torn rotator cuff.

In terms of storyline, WWE had to pivot from original plans and had Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed turn on The Visionary by brutally assaulting him after he won the Crown Jewel match against Cody Rhodes. This forged the path to write him off television.

Seth Rollins’ progress is moving in the right direction

The Visionary and WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch appeared on Complex News amid his absence. During that conversation, he revealed that the surgery was done almost three months ago, and he can use his shoulder for most functions. However, the timeline for return is yet to be determined, but the progress is moving in the right direction.

It’s coming along. It’s coming along. I had surgery about almost three months now. So, I can do most normal things like wash my hair and scratch my armpit and all those things so it’s good. You still got time. I don’t know exactly when we’re gonna come back but, I’m making progress in the right direction.

Previously, it was reported that Seth Rollins would return ahead of WrestleMania 42; however, there is doubt about whether or not he would make it to the match card.
