Seth Rollins Names Current AEW Stars In Favorite WWE Matches He Lost
Seth Rollins has two AEW wrestlers in mind when recalling some of his favorite losses in a WWE ring.
The WWE career of Seth Rollins is on hold right now due to a shoulder injury that has put The Visionary on the sidelines since October, but there is optimism for a return around WrestleMania time.
In his time away from WWE, Rollins has promoted the company a lot with plenty of interviews and even hosting NFL programming.
When you have had a career like Seth Rollins with so many big wins over the last 13+ years, it’s a difficult task to pick your favorite wins and even your favorite losses.
Seth Rollins Shows Love To Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli
During an interview on GQ’s Couple Quiz with his wife, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins was asked about his favorite win in WWE, and he had no answer, but he mentioned his favorite losses. For that, Rollins recognized two of his best friends who now work for AEW: Jon Moxley (Dean Ambrose in WWE) and Claudio Castagnoli, who was Cesaro in WWE.
“The night Ambrose cashed in Money In The Bank, and the title went from Roman to me to Jon all in the span of like 10 minutes. Very nice to give someone you love a moment like that.
“I’d say that one and probably the WrestleMania match with Claudio, where he beat me.”
The two matches in question were Money in the Bank 2016 when Seth Rollins beat Roman Reigns for the WWE Title and Dean Ambrose cashed in Money in the Bank to win the WWE Title for the first time, so it was the night when all three Shield members held the WWE Title.
That other match that Rollins mentioned was at WrestleMania 37 in 2021 when he lost clean to Cesaro in what was a huge win for Cesaro at the time.
