Samoa Joe will be defending his Ring of Honor (ROH) World Television Championship Wednesday on AEW Dynamite.
Posting on his official Twitter account, the owner of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), Tony Khan, announced that Samoa Joe will be putting his ROH World Television Championship on the line, taking on Brian Cage. The bout will be the fourth title defense for Samoa Joe.
“After weeks of altercations between ROH World TV Champion Samoa Joe and The Embassy’s Brian Cage. These two will fight for the title live on Wednesday.”

Khan noted that the rivalry going on between Joe and The Embassy has been going on for a while on AEW Television. In the past few weeks, each Joe and the TNT Champion Wardlow have teamed up as ‘WarJoe’ to fight the stable. On the October 28, 2022 edition of AEW Rampage, both Joe and Wardlow were attacked by each The Embassy and Powerhouse Hobbs to end the program. With Cage carrying the Ring of Honor (ROH) World TV Title and holding it up, the show would go off the air.
Speculation is now swirling around the possibility that Hobbs could potentially get involved Wednesday during the championship match between Samoa Joe and Brian Cage.
