With rumours doing the rounds of a long-time WWE employee allegedly leaving the company, it’s now been confirmed that this isn’t quite true.

Ever since Vince McMahon retired on 22 July, a number of further changes have been made to the backstage WWE team. Among them have been promotions for Stephanie McMahon, Nick Khan, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels, with ‘The Game’ also bringing back several key members of his NXT team.

Kevin Dunn, a long-time and valued member of Vince McMahon’s WWE leadership team, was a name many expected to leave when McMahon did. According to PWInsider, however, Dunn remains a full-time employee.

Rumours had been running rampant on social media indicating that Kevin Dunn had departed the company. They’re just that, though; rumours.

Initially signed to the then-World Wrestling Federation in the 1980s, Dunn has remained heavily involved with the on-screen WWE product ever since, overseeing every aspect of television production across every hour of weekly WWE programming. His official title is currently Executive Vice President, Television Production, a role he has held since June 2003.

Kevin Dunn’s work has been heavily criticised throughout the years, including by the current SmackDown distributor FOX, for his unnecessary and excessive camera cuts.
