ROH Supercard Of Honor 2023 Announced
Ring of Honor (ROH) is alive and well going into 2023.
Supercard of Honor is one of Ring of Honor’s biggest annual shows. First established in 2006, the show has historically been on the same weekend and in the same host city/region as WWE’s WrestleMania.
That trend continues in 2023 as Supercard of Honor XVI will emanate from the Galen Center at USC and WrestleMania 39 will emanate from the SoFi Stadium, both of which are located in the general Los Angeles area.
According to an update provided by Fightful, Supercard of Honor XVI will take place on March 31st, 2023, one night before the two-night WrestleMania event. This will be the first Supercard of Honor to take place in California since 2015 and the first ROH event of any kind in Southern California since 2011.
Additionally, wrestlers Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli,, and both Mark and Jay Briscoe will be involved in the event.
Prior to this sow, ROH’s last big event was Final Battle 2022, which was a joint ROH/AEW venture. That event saw Claudio beat Chris Jericho to win the ROH World Championship for the second time and saw the conclusion to the FTR/Briscoes trilogy with a tag team Dog Collar match.
Tickets for Supercard of Honor go on sale on January 27th, 2023.
