The finals of the NJPW G1 Climax 33 are set with some very familiar names meeting in a big match.

Two former IWGP World Heavyweight Champions will meet in the finals of the tournament with Kazuchika Okada facing off against Tesuya Naito.

Kazuchika Okada made it to the finals after winning Block B. Okada picked up wins over Zack Sabre Jr. in the quarterfinals and Okada defeated Evil in the semifinals earlier today.

As for Tetsuya Naito, he defeated Hikuleo in the quarterfinals along with a win over Will Ospreay in the semifinals in a match that also took place earlier today.

That means that the 7-time IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada will face off against a familiar rival when he battled against a 3-time IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Tetsuya Naito. That final match will take place this Sunday, April 13th.

Earlier in the tournament, Okada lost to Ospreay and was hoping to meet Ospreay in the finals of the G1, but instead, it will be Naito in that spot.
