Missing WWE Star Returns On SmackDown

WWE SmackDown saw a huge return of one superstar who clearly hasn’t forgotten how they were taken out of action.

CM Punk stunned the world when he returned to WWE at Survivor Series and that came on the same night that Randy Orton returned to action after 18 months on the injured list.

Randy Orton has joined SmackDown as he seeks revenge on The Bloodline who took him out of action in May 2022 and he clearly has his sights set on the WWE Universal Championship held by Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns returned to SmackDown on December 15 and Orton quickly made a beeline for him. Orton challenged him to a title match at the Royal Rumble but that was rejected and instead, a match for SmackDown was made pitting Orton against Jimmy Uso.

Solo Sikoa attempted to help Uso get the win but his interference was counter-acted by LA Knight with Orton getting the victory. However, after the match, Roman Reigns led an attack on Orton and Knight but The Bloodline was soon stopped in its tracks by AJ Styles.

AJ Styles Makes WWE Return On SmackDown

AJ Styles was taken out of action by Solo Sikoa several months ago when Styles was originally set to team with John Cena at Fastlane to face Uso and Sikoa. Styles was replaced in that match by LA Knight.

Styles took out Reigns with a Phenomenal Forearm and then in a twist, he also nailed Knight with one, indicating that he might not have been too thrilled at being replaced back in October.
