Liv Morgan Recalls Heartbreaking WWE Moment: “I’m Done”

Liv Morgan recently got candid in an interview.

Liv Morgan suffered a devastating shoulder injury and was out of action from June 2025 to November 2026.

She suffered the injury in a match against Kairi Sane on Raw. Morgan says she injured her shoulder 5 seconds into the bout when Sane held Morgan’s leg to ensure she fell in a planned bump, and while taking the bump, Morgan landed awkwardly on her shoulder and immediately knew she was in trouble.

The Miracle Kid rolled out of the ring and tried to put her dislocated shoulder back into place, but it didn’t work, meaning she couldn’t continue to wrestle.

Speaking on Raw Talk, Morgan recalls the harrowing incident.

The most recent time it happened, it happened like five seconds into my match. The match had just started, and I landed and knew right away. And so I just had to roll out because I couldn’t lift my arm. Like I can’t (…) I can’t go 10 more minutes. I rolled out, and I said, ‘I’m done.’ I was like, ‘Look at this.’ Um, I tried to like pop it back in, and it just was not happening. And so I couldn’t lift my arm. I couldn’t use it. So it was just like I could no longer continue. And that sucked.

Liv Morgan later returned to WWE TV at Survivor Series: War Games to help her on-screen boyfriend, Dominik Mysterio, defeat John Cena for the Intercontinental Title.

Liv Morgan Chooses Stephanie Vaquer As Opponent For WrestleMania

Morgan won the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble and had the option to choose between WWE Champion Jade Cargill and Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer. This past week on Raw, when all three women were in the ring, Morgan attacked Vaquer after deciding that La Primera would be her opponent at the Showcase of the Immortals.

The winner of the Women’s Elimination Chamber match will now go on to face Jade Cargill for her WWE Women’s Title at WrestleMania.
