Liv Morgan Formed Family With 2 Ex-WWE Stars

Liv Morgan WWE

Liv Morgan has opened up about her relationship with two fired WWE stars and why she still considers them to be family.

Liv Morgan captured one of the biggest wins of her career when she emerged victorious at the 2026 Royal Rumble. Morgan now knows she’ll have a major title match at WrestleMania 42 to look forward to, but she’s keeping everyone guessing over which title she’ll go after. Both Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer and WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill have grown increasingly frustrated as they try to convince Morgan to pick them.

Whoever she picks, Liv Morgan might well be the favourite to walk away with the gold, considering her backup in The Judgment Day. But that’s not the first group Morgan has had to rely on in WWE.

Liv Morgan Discusses The Riott Squad

Back in 2017, Liv Morgan made her main roster WWE debut with Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan as the Riott Squad. Morgan is the last member standing from that group with Riott since joining AEW and becoming Ruby Soho, with Logan having a run in WWE as Valhalla before being let go at the end of her contract in June 2025.

Speaking on the Battleground podcast, Liv Morgan explained what those years in the Riott Squad meant to her and why she thinks of her former partners as family:

But honestly, we just had so much fun, me and the girls, we just had so so so much fun. We really became a family, we still keep in touch. And so I feel like the foundation and the fundamentals of my tag team prowess, you know, form from the Riott Squad.
