Latest Update On Ex-AEW Star’s WWE In-Ring Debut Plans
Danhausen joined WWE on February 28 after his AEW contract expired.
The 35-year-old wrestler was revealed as the mystery man inside the crate that had travelled between Raw and SmackDown for a couple of weeks.
Since then, he has remained a free agent, having made appearances on both the red and blue brands.
Danhausen’s appearance on the shows has been well-received as compared to his reveal at the Elimination Chamber last month.
So far, the ex-AEW star has ‘cursed’ The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio and The Original El Grande Americano on Raw and The Miz on SmackDown.
His curse on Mysterio, especially, was damaging as the second-generation superstar went on to lose his Intercontinental Championship against Penta soon after.
Americano, on the other hand, failed to turn up for his scheduled title match against Penta on the March 9 taping of Raw. The impact of his curse on The Miz has yet to be seen.
Ex-AEW Star Discusses Imminent WWE In-Ring Debut
Danhausen has thus far been featured in backstage segments heavily, barring the in-ring appearance he made on March 9 during a break, where he interacted with the audience.
The ex-AEW star recently appeared on the Raw Recap podcast, revealing his in-ring status.
I hope soon. So far, I’m just going through and cursing some fellows, trying to make some friends, and possibly setting up some matches so that I can win. And that gives me more money, and then it gives me a more likely chance to get on the truck.
I think that’s good because if I get on the truck and then people see me on the truck, they will know who Danhausen is, they will take a picture of my face and Google it, and then also, the truck, I should be on the sphere in Las Vegas [H/T: ITR Wrestling]
