Jesse Ventura Called Out Over Steiner Math Line On WWE Show
Jesse Ventura could have another WWE Hall of Famer to deal with based on a comment at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
When WWE brought back Saturday Night’s Main Event last December in Long Island, it also marked the return of Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura to commentary.
For many years, the WWE Hall of Famer known as The Body stayed away from the company. After Vince McMahon was effectively removed from the company in January 2024 due to his legal issues, Ventura made it clear that he was back with his WWE family because McMahon was gone.
At the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show in San Antonio, Jesse Ventura was on the broadcast for a chat from the Okerlund Position with Joe Tessitore and he also did commentary on one match.
During Bron Breakker’s Intercontinental Title match win over Sheamus, Ventura joined Michael Cole and Pat McAfee on commentary. Ventura is traditionally a heel announcer, so during the match, he took a shot at Breakker’s family, which is Bron’s father Rick Steiner, and his uncle Scott Steiner aka The Steiner Brothers – a WWE Hall of Fame tag team.
“But there is one thing he ain’t got. He’s a Steiner and that means two and two equals five.”
Scott Steiner Reacts To Jesse Ventura’s Insult
Based on what Ventura said on commentary, he was likely making a joke that the Steiner Brothers were not smart guys. It’s unlikely that Ventura was referencing Scott Steiner’s infamous “math” promo in TNA from over 15 years ago since Jesse admitted he hadn’t watched wrestling for decades.
In a post on X/Twitter, Scott Steiner referenced the fact that he graduated from the University of Michigan while threatening Ventura.
“Jesse Ventura seems to forget that I attended a highly educated university next time I see him there’s a 141 2/3 chance that I will slap him like a b**ch…
“His navy seal training can’t help him.”
Scott Steiner likely did that in jest, but when it comes to somebody like Big Poppa Pump, you never really know.
