Jacy Jayne Takes Advantage Of Chaos To Retain The NXT Title In Heated Triple Threat

WWE hosted a special episode of NXT tonight as the show aired live from the 713 Music Hall in Houston, Texas, moving away from its regular location, the Performance Center.

To mark the occasion, the Interim NXT General Manager, Robert Stone, had announced a huge night of action, which is set to see multiple titles being defended on the show.

The night began with a highly personal and intense match for the NXT Women’s Championship as Sol Ruca took on former partner Zaria, and the champion, Jacy Jayne, in a triple threat match.

Jacy’s title defense was off to a quick start as none of the women wasted any time in going after each other. Sol and Zaria looked to get their hands on each other on multiple occasions, but Jacy was always present to take advantage of the animosity.

This nature of the NXT Women’s Champion came in handy during the match after Zaria got her hands on Sol Ruca. Sol almost had the match won after she hit a Sol Snatcher on Jacy, but she was dragged out of her pin by Zaria.

She would then go on to hit an F5 on her long-term rival to the floor, before sending her back in. She attacked Fallon Henly as the Women’s Speed Champion ate an F5 of her own, to allow Sol Ruca to regain control of the North.
