Likely Identities Of WWE Stars In New Vignettes Revealed
A new report has shed some light on WWE’s mystery videos that have gotten internet wrestling fans talking.
There are a total of five cryptic WWE social media videos featuring shoes walking in the darkness.
It has led to all kinds of speculation that it could be related to the Men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series on November 29th because WWE has yet to promote any matches at the show, so it would make sense to build it up soon.
In an update, PWInsider Elite has reported that top superstars like WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Brock Lesnar flew to the company’s headquarters in Connecticut to film promotional content for WrestleMania 42, which takes place in Las Vegas in April 2026.
Fightful Select confirmed that report and added that Lesnar flew in on a private plane for the promotional shoot. Lesnar has been off WWE TV since beating John Cena easily at Wrestlepalooza on September 20th.
The WrestleMania 42 promotional ad could be released today, according to Wrestlevotes.
It’s a WM42 promo and it’s expected to be revealed, in full, sometime later today.

Cody Rhodes Views Himself As WWE’s Quarterback
It is no surprise that WWE would want to focus on guys like Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Brock Lesnar in a WrestleMania 42 promotional video, considering they have all headlined the event multiple times and are three of the biggest stars in the company.
Cody Rhodes has mentioned many times that he views himself as WWE’s Quarterback, which is another way of saying he sees himself as a star player working to execute his bosses’ vision.
Recently, Cody Rhodes talked about running the WWE plays called for him.
They’re really great about it. When I say ‘they,’ I mean Triple H, Nick Khan, and The Rock — they’re very good about knowing that I’ve had an education in this and that I have my own opinions on what I should maybe be doing.
But honestly, coming back here, one of the greatest gifts in WWE has been being able to say, ‘You guys tell me.’ Tell me, because I’ve been too caught up doing all of this on my own. Tell me the play. That’s what we say — the quarterback thing. I may be the quarterback of WWE, but you’re telling me the play, and I have to trust you.
