Hulk Hogan Not Hated By WWE Hall Of Famer

Hulk Hogan

For some, there’s no end of reasons to hate Hulk Hogan but one WWE Hall of Famer with more reasons than most claims they don’t hate Hogan after all.

Hulk Hogan was hated by many wrestling fans for his political machinations behind the scenes as he often put himself at the centre of things at the expense of other stars such as Bret Hart at WrestleMania 9 or the mess he made with Sting at Starrcade 1997.

However, some people didn’t hate Hulk Hogan until his infamous racist rant from 2007 became public knowledge with The Hulkster only making things worse in the eyes of many with his hollow apologies that focused more on the fact he got caught rather than what he said.

Some people might have waited for Hulk Hogan to promote beer with a convicted anti-semite or for Hogan to start publicly fawning over the divisive President-elect Donald Trump. Hulk Hogan has claimed Trump wants him for a government job – but as with many of Hogan’s claims, it’s hard to know what’s the truth and what isn’t.

Jesse Ventura Doesn’t Hate Union-Busting Hulk Hogan

However, one man who doesn’t hate Hulk Hogan is the man Hogan ratted out to Vince McMahon for wanting to start a wrestling union – Jesse Ventura.

Speaking on WFAN, Jesse Ventura explained that while Hulk Hogan did him wrong, he doesn’t hate Hogan for it and that is something that comes from his days as a Navy Seal:

Well, no, but you gotta remember, okay, the Hogan thing with me, I don’t hate him. I don’t hate anybody. But you gotta understand something, where I come from. During my most formative years, I was under an influence that created, for lack of better terms, in many ways, a monster, and that was when I was a Navy Seal.

I never talked about it, I don’t talk about it. But we in that group, we live by a single premise, and this will answer your question, we don’t get mad. We get even. [Laughs] If you’re calling them in, your chances are, someone’s going to die. That’s just the way it is, and that’s the life I led for six years.

Jesse Ventura returned to WWE at Saturday Night’s Main Event where he was back on commentary for the company after decades away.
