Goldberg Discusses His Future Plans Following WWE Retirement

Goldberg WWE

Goldberg’s retirement match was at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12, 2025, against Gunther.

The Ring General and Da Man put up an excellent fight, but finally Gunther overpowered Goldberg to secure the win.

Following the match, the WWE Hall of Famer reacted negatively to how his retirement speech was handled. The show went off-air mid-speech, and he felt as though he wasn’t given enough respect as a veteran.

Goldberg does not have wrestling in his plans

Da Man appeared on Real Talk with Mike Burke, where he spoke about his future plans. He does not plan to jump into Hollywood or make a surprise wrestling comeback. Instead, he wants to enjoy his current life and work on fixing his cars and making videos.

I don’t know, man. I’m just trying to relax right now. Everybody keeps asking me what’s next — nothing. I stopped.

Yeah, I’m enjoying this YouTube thing with my cars because I need to start doing it more regularly. I think I’ve done like three videos in six months because of the retirement match. But I’m just going to start fixing all my cars. No wrestling.

Well, certainly not for Expendables 12. They’re not calling right now. Like I said, I’m just completely relaxing at the moment because I haven’t done this before. [H/t: Ringside News]
