Former WWE Women’s Champion Returns On Raw

WWE Raw Set

A former SmackDown Women’s Champion made their return to WWE television for the first time in five months on Monday Night Raw.

Raw in Tulsa, Oklahoma was full of fallout from the weekend’s Royal Rumble event that saw both Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley book their place at WrestleMania 39 by winning their respective Rumble matches.

The American Nightmare’s dance card for The Show of Shows is now full while Rhea Ripley announced which champion she would be challenging on Raw. However, The Judgment Day’s eradicator looks like she will have to deal with Beth Phoenix head-on before then as the two women fought again in Tulsa.

It was also something of a night of returns on Raw with Rick Boogs returning to WWE television after missing nine months of action. Boogs defeated The Miz in an impromptu match.

Also on the show, Carmella announced that she had returned to the brand in an interview segment. The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion has not competed on Raw since the 18th of July when she lost to Bianca Belair in a Raw Women’s Championship match.

Carmella was soon interrupted by Asuka who intimidated the returning star into beating a hasty retreat when blue liquid began dripping from her mouth. It looks like these two women are destined to face off in a WWE ring sooner rather than later.
