Female WWE Star Was Almost Carjacked: “My Instincts Started Going Off”

A WWE star just made a shocking confession.

Cathy Kelley is one of the most beloved names on the WWE roster. She is a backstage interviewer on SmackDown and has interviewed some of the top stars in the sports entertainment juggernaut.

Cathy Kelley also has a lot of friends in the WWE due to her fun personality. Two of her closest friends are Kevin Owens and Rhea Ripley. Due to the nature of her job, the WWE personality is always on the road since she has be at various shows on a weekly basis. This also means that there are times when she could find herself in some scary situations.

WWE star Cathy Kelley admitted that she was almost carjacked

During a conversation with ZELVX and CHARLIE GIRL, Cathy Kelley revealed that she was nearly carjacked in Italy. She stated that she was driving into Milan with Zelina Vega and Dakota Kai when a couple of guys drove next to them on Vespas. They were trying to convince the girls to pull over by saying they had a flat tire. However, they continued driving. She said that the guys were trying to convince the WWE star to pull over so they could change the tires. One guy even claimed that there was traffic head. However, Cathy Kelley noticed that the streets were quiet which made her instincts go off.

“I was almost carjacked in Italy. So, I tried to do a lot of solo experiences… we were actually driving into Milan from another city that we had stopped at,” she said. “As we were pulling into the city, we saw this one guy—he had like a Rolex or something—get it stolen right off the street. Then we’re driving a little further, and something else like that caught our attention. Then we’re on the edge of the city, and these two guys on Vespas come up on either side. We realized he was saying ‘flat tire,’ but our tire pressure was fine, so we kept driving.”

“I think that’s when the other person popped the tire in the back and sped off—but we didn’t clock it because he’s distracting us. He’s like, ‘Pull over, pull over.’… ‘No, no, no—down further, too much traffic. I’ll help you change it.’ But it was a much quieter area, not a busy street—and that’s when my instincts started going off.” [H/T Ringside News]

It’s good that Cathy Kelley didn’t pull over as that could’ve put them in huge trouble.
