Ex-WWE Star Allegedly Choked Vince McMahon Backstage & Accused Him Of Molestation

A WWE legend revealed a wild story involving a real-life backstage physical altercation between Vince McMahon and a former superstar.

Nailz participated in a few WWE tryouts before officially signing with the Stamford-based company in early 1992. However, the 67-year-old left the promotion later that same year after a physical altercation with the then-Chairman Vince McMahon backstage.

In a recent interview with Going Ringside, WWE Hall of Famer Sgt Slaughter recalled that incident, revealing that he was the one who intervened to save McMahon.

Sgt Slaughter disclosed that Nailz approached him after a production meeting. Everyone had already left the office, except Vince McMahon, who was making some calls.

Nailz came over and said, ‘Hey Sarge, is Vince around?’ I said, ‘Yeah, he’s in the office here.’ So I opened up the door. I said, ‘Nailz would like to talk to you.’ He said, ‘Send him in.’

The situation, however, escalated quickly as the WWE Hall of Famer remembered. Slaughter pointed out that although he successfully sustained Nailz, the former superstar later called the police and accused McMahon of molesting him.

All of a sudden, we heard the furniture flying around, and they opened up the door, and Nailz had Vince down on the ground, choking him. So I ran in and knocked his arms off of Vince’s throat and ran him into a chalkboard… he went around me and started choking him again. I did the same procedure… knocked his hand off, pushed him up against the blackboard, and I pinned him in there.

He just kinda went from this fury, tough, out-of-his-mind guy, and he looked at me, he goes, ‘Oh, hey, Sarge. I didn’t mean to get you involved in this.’ I said, ‘You just take it easy. You’ve got enough problems the way it is.’ And they got Vince out of there. As soon as he got up and out of there, Nailz went around the corner to a pay phone and called the police, saying that Vince had molested him, grabbed him, which I don’t know. I wasn’t in there.

[McMahon] was shaking up pretty good. He had some marks on his neck, and he was coughing and gagging.
