Ex-WWE Champion Sends Spine-Chilling Message To Oba Femi
After squashing rookies and veterans across several weeks, Oba Femi may finally have to climb a mountain.
Femi has yet to be assigned to a WWE main roster brand, as he has continued to make appearances on both Raw and SmackDown.
Since relinquishing the NXT Championship at New Year’s Evil on January 6, The Rule has competed in a handful of matches on the blue brand, all ending in resounding victories.
After a couple of backstage run-ins with Femi on WWE Raw, Rusev called him out during the March 2 taping. Not one to back away from a challenge, the 27-year-old wrestler sauntered his way to the ring with the audience changing “Oba” to his theme song.
Both superstars then got into the ring and exchange hard punches. It looked liked Rusev had briefly got the upperhand, but Oba Femi retaliated with a spinebuster.
He then clothselined the Bulgarian Brute over the top rope, leaving him screaming in frustration.

Rusev cannot get over the humiliation he suffered at the hands of Oba Femi on WWE Raw.
The 40-year-old took to Instagram to share a bone-chilling message, addressing the Nigerian superstar.
I’ve had many epic fights in my career—Hell in a Cell, Donnybrook—but this one is simple. The Lion of Bulgaria versus the Nigerian Ruler, two men who have cross the world to fight each other, two men who left everything behind to become something. But Oba, for me to live my American Dream that means it must become your nightmare. Every step on the ladder is the broken back of my opponent. But this is where it gets simple. Not everybody has to suffer, I just know that you do.
