Backstage Details On Bronson Reed’s Scrapped WWE Elimination Chamber Plans
Bronson Reed could not have suffered an injury at a worse time.
As a WWE talent, it is every wrestler’s dream to take part in WrestleMania. Along the way, they stake their claims through dominant performances in the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber.
Reed had been poised for bigger things since joining The Vision last year. On his journey, he achieved several accolades, which included a victory over Roman Reigns.
On February 23, he was scheduled to win a 3-way Elimination Chamber qualifying match against Jey Uso and the Original El Grande Americano.
However, a faulty spot led to him tearing his bicep, sending him to the hospital for surgery.
After going under the knife, Bronson Reed provided an update from his hospital bed, sharing that the surgery was successful and he was now looking forward to rehabilitation and an imminent comeback.
Bronson Reed Was Set To Dominate At Elimination Chamber
Bronson Reed’s injury on Raw forced WWE to call an audible that saw Jey Uso claim the victory instead.
Uso, in turn, was attacked backstage on SmackDown, resulting in his removal from the Chamber match. As a result, Logan Paul and Jacob Fatu were added to an impromptu qualifying match, which The Maverick won.
At Elimination Chamber on Saturday, Paul secured 3 eliminations when he pinned Je’Von Evans, LA Knight, and Trick Williams.
Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net revealed on X that Paul’s eliminations in the chamber match were supposed to be Bronson Reed’s.
