Deepest Condolences To WWE Superstar Otis
WWE Superstar Otis recently shared some heartbreaking personal news.
The Alpha Academy member hasn’t played a prominent role on the Road to WrestleMania this year. The February 9 episode of RAW saw him and Akira Tozawa face then-World Tag Team Champions The Usos. However, Jimmy and Jey walked away with the victory on the night.
Otis has competed in only one match since, a singles loss to Rusev on the March 30 edition of Main Event. Amid his disappointing in-ring run, the 34-year-old star has suffered a soul-crushing real-life setback.
A few days ago, Otis took to Instagram to reveal that his dog, Faulkner, is no more. He recalled fond memories between the two and shared the following heartfelt message:
Dear FAULKNER, The first Day when a MOMMAs moved in with YEE and Baby Gurl Phoebe, I knew we’d Click at first sight. You made things always harder to leave for the Road but ALWAYS SWEETER comin’ home to you 😘 Your Sweet Eyes of an Angel would always melt my Heart. Friday April 10th, brought a wave [of] unbearable sadness…. My Baby Boy was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma, Tumor in his stomach that has rapidly spread to his Lungs……. Today My Handsome Baby Boy….has Passed.
I wanted to THANK YEE Baby. As your DADA I’ve had nothing but Smilies, cuddles, faackin Fun, PURRE LOVE and I’m privileged to have you Angel 😘I will cry about you a lot……. with JOY, sadness, MEMORIES, pictures, and Most of all remembering your Kindness FAULKNER 2015 – 2026 – The FAULKNER Court MN Basketball 🏀 Backyard Champion – Lover of Squeaky Toys – MY HANDSOME BABY BOY As you Descended into HEAVEN’s Pearly Gates, I Just wanted to let you know DADA WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU 😘 – DADA P.S. Ex-WWE star makes a hilarious claim about Otis
It is no secret that Otis’ most iconic run in the sports entertainment juggernaut was during his love triangle with Mandy Rose and Dolph Ziggler.
The Alpha Academy member ended up defeating Ziggler at WrestleMania 36. The cherry on top for him was sharing a kiss with God’s Greatest Creation.
During an episode of Busted Open in 2025, Dolph Ziggler and Mandy Rose lamented that this storyline culminated during the global pandemic in 2020. Rose, however, hilariously stated Otis had the “best of the situation” as he got to have an intimate moment.
I’m thinking of Otis now that you say it. At least our kiss was like pretty intimate, though. It was really quiet, there wasn’t that many people around. He really had the best situation with that one.
It will be interesting to see if Otis and Mandy Rose have a reunion in WWE, somewhere down the line.
