Date For Will Ospreay’s AEW Return Revealed

Will Ospreay

Tony Khan is set to add more new stars to his roster and now it seems AEW has plans in place for Will Ospreay’s return to the company.

The last time Will Ospreay was in action in an AEW ring was back at WrestleDream when he was part of The Don Callis Family that defeated Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi. That was by no means Ospreay’s first match in the company but the next time he competes in AEW will be the first time he does it as an AEW-contracted talent.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer gave an update on when some new faces in AEW might debut and when Will Ospreay could be back in the ring again for the company:

Mercedes is on March 13th. Okada, I don’t know. And Ospreay could be, I was told Ospreay is in Greensboro, that could have changed. But I mean, I was told by someone who would know that he was going to be wrestling a match in Greensboro. So that’s March 3rd.

Will Ospreay Could Be Part Of AEW Revolution

The Greensboro show on March 3rd is Revolution which will play host to the final match in the legendary career of Sting. Sting claimed the first AEW gold of his career heading into that match where he and Darby Allin are expected to face The Young Bucks.

In addition to that match Samoa Joe has two challengers for his AEW World Championship while Eddie Kingston will put the Continental Crown on the line against Bryan Danielson. If Kingston wins, however, Danielson will have to do the unthinkable and shake his hand.

Timeless Toni Storm will put her AEW Women’s Championship on the line against Deonna Purrazzo and Orange Cassidy will defend the International Title against the Undisputed Kingdom’s Roderick Strong.
